On the 4th of July, 1975 one of the best horror movies ever debuted. Jaws had the nation captivated and terrified to go into the water. The slow creep of the shark, lovingly named Bruce after Spielberg’s lawyer, the inability to act against this force for most of the film, and the idea that anyone could fall victim of the killer gave the viewer immense tension and fear to the point of people not going swimming for the summer of ‘75.
The current story on SCC, Hoard, is not as action packed but much like Jaws it has the element of no control. This month SCC will celebrate summer by giving the reader a page of Hoard 4 days a week, Monday through Thursday.
Today’s Skin Crawling Comics is actually a two page prose story. Yes, both pages posted today so don’t worry, you won’t be left hanging.
